Today was an overall ok day.

Skyler was devastated when we couldn’t go swimming Friday afternoon because it was raining. He was devastated this morning because we couldn’t go outside because it was raining. Somehow, by this afternoon, the weather had cleared up and the sun was out. The water was a fabulous 85 degrees and Skyler was so happy when I told him we could go swimming. :)

He didn’t want to get out of the water, but I think it was the bribery of watching Shrek that changed his mind.

7:30pm came and he didn’t want to go to bed. So he played quietly while I got online. 7:55 he tugged on my hand and told me that it was time for night-night. To my surprise he had picked up all the toys he pulled out of his toy box. He went to sleep after 3 books and no fighting.

I love days that end that wonderfully.
