Psychotically Sane

Nothing much tonight. I told myself I was going to go to bed early, but of course it’s not going to happen. It’s already close to 11:30 which means I’ll only be getting about 6 hours of sleep, most likely less since it’s normal for me to wake up several times during the night.

Skyler has been fighting a nasty case of the terrible two’s. He gets so frustrated because communication is still very unclear. He can tell me what he wants, but he gets mad when I don’t give in. He threw a fit this afternoon because he wanted juice. I would have given him some but we are all out until I can run to the store tomorrow. Of course he threw a fit and refused his milk until I explained to him that the juice was all gone and mommy would have to buy some more. Once he calmed down so I could talk to him, he drank his milk. When he was done, he gave me his milky smiled and patted me on the back saying “lo you mommy” and giving me a milky kiss.

Of course, it’s hard to stay mad at him.
