Author: This past weekend, during a short summer storm, I decided that Skyler and I needed to spend an afternoon playing in the rain. Who cares how wet we got, who cares how many puddles we jumped in, who really cares how muddy it was outside. I wanted to get that childish feeling and just play in the rain. I feel so lucky I have a little boy that enjoys playing in the rain too. It didn’t last long and certainly didn’t rain very hard, but we had fun.
Skyler was a little sick on Monday, running a low fever (100 at the very most) and just over all feeling yucky. So we played hooky and enjoyed an off day. We laid around watching TV, reading books and just resting and relaxing. It was nice and I got in some much needed knitting time. I managed to get a couple of projects finally completed (just need pictures) and I frogged some projects that were just sitting around, never going to get completed.
I also have a tag and logo for my Itty Bitty Knits. I sent out a couple of packages this past Saturday. I was sad to see them go though.
But I can’t wait to get more knitted goods out :)
