We are just doing the kids this year but I so love watching them with their gifts. The whole holiday season is nice though, because I enjoy the other things you mentioned - baking, family, decorating and looking at everyone else's decorations. And the kids love that too! As for winter..we had our first winter storm and I am already ready for spring. I didn't even leave the house :P So I get you there.
